Hello, my name is Chrissy and I am the Founder and Director of Career Revival. I am also an experienced, qualified and CDAA (Career Development Association of Australia) certified Career Practitioner. By integrating a narrative and solutions focused approach in my practice, I listen carefully to your unique story and work closely with you as your partner to help you move to where you want to be in your career and life.

Having navigated several career transitions myself, I completely understand and empathise with how scary and daunting career transitions and searching for work can be.

Looking back on my own career journey, I recall feeling really lost in my 2^nd year at Uni. I was undertaking a Science degree which I wasn’t enjoying and felt so confused about what to do. After receiving career counselling myself, I decided to drop the majority of my Science subjects except for Psychology which I loved and pursue Business subjects instead. I went on to complete an Honours degree in Organisational Psychology but once I finished Uni, I found it really hard to secure the work that I wanted. I felt like a failure and after 8 months of searching for work, I finally landed a role in Employment Services and later Government Recruitment.

During this time, I recognised a common theme among the clients I was supporting. Many felt lost and confused about their career direction just like I had been. Others were unfulfilled and unmotivated at work. The majority had lost their confidence and spark after constant rejection during their job search. The impacts to their health and wellbeing were devastating and I could relate to exactly what they were going through. I desperately wanted to help in some way.

In 2009, in my own quest to find more meaningful work, I decided to start a business that would help jobseekers and working professionals gain career clarity, rebuild hope and confidence and ultimately revive their careers.

With over 15 years’ combined experience in the Career Development and Employment industries, I have supported both Australian and international clients across all professional levels and industries, including:
